“Engage in genre analysis and multimodal composing to explore effective writing across disciplinary contexts and beyond”

As discussed during course learning outcome 3 throughout the semester before every assignment we would first be assigned a genre analysis assignment where we looked at past student samples of the assignment that we needed to complete. These genre analysis assignments helped in identifying what mistakes you shouldn’t make as well as what you needed to include in order for your writing to be a good writing piece for each type of genre. However multimodal composing wasn’t achieved during this semester due to the ongoing pandemic, throughout the course every assignment were both completed and submitted digitally.
